Wishing Well -Museum of My Heart

The Wishing Well is one of my first augmented reality installations. The piece debuted as part of Museum of My Heart, a three-day art and performance exhibition presented by Culture Lab LIC. The interactive experience invited visitors to write a personal wish on a 4 × 6 card and cast it into a physical wishing well created by collaborator
Pri The Honeydark.

After making their wish, participants scanned a QR code with their mobile devices, stood approximately five feet from the well, and aimed their phones just above it to activate the augmented reality experience.

Through their screens, visitors encountered a feminine Wishing Well Deity floating above the installation as wish cards emerged from the well and ascended toward the heavens. Above her, a second feminine deity receives the wishes and works to manifest them into reality.

The installation explores the invisible creative energy generated through the simple act of making a wish. Augmented reality reveals the hidden veil between intention and manifestation, transforming an unseen spiritual process into a shared visual experience.
